RedLine Resophonics R-Body Square Neck #128

This guitar has been built with the traditional classic R-Body size and shape. However, we used a somewhat unique combination of wood species on this particular build. The top and back are made from solid book-matched European Ash. The neck and book-matched sides are made of Honduras Mahogany. The fretboard and headstock overlay are made of ebony. As it turned out, this combination of body woods was a good one. The Ash gives the guitar a great boost with the top three strings, while the Mahogany tempers the overall tone a bit, and really helps with the bass notes. Overall, you get a nicely balanced blend of volume and tone across all of the strings, up and down the neck. You may have also noticed that instead of screened (or screenless) sound holes, this guitar sports a pair of handsome f-holes. We have also built our unique internal baffling system inside this guitar. The combination of these woods, the internal baffle, along with using top quality components overall add up to giving this guitar an extremely nice sound. As with all of our R-Body style guitars, you will immediately notice plenty of volume, great tone, and an amazing amount of sustain. This is a very versatile guitar, perfect for bluegrass, country, even blues, rock, and other styles of music as well. Some other upgrades to this particular guitar include Planet Waves Locking Tuners and highly figured maple binding on the top and back of the body, as well as the fretboard. Other specifications are as follows.
